Overview:
This is another set of soft and easy going tour in the Southern Region of India for people of all age category, organize privately for individuals, couples, families and group (8 people). Bangalore is the gateway for visiting places in this tour hence we start the tour from here followed by Hassan, Belur, Halebid, Sravenbelagola, Mysore, Aihole, Badami, Pattadakkal.
Highlights: In this tour, majority of the historical monuments are based on Local Religions. Most of the destinations are having historical and cultural importance. Hoysaleswara or Halebidu Temple is a 12th Century structure dedicated to Lord Shiva. Hoysala is the name of the local Dynasty. Dravidian Architectural wonders, Stone carving and sculptures of birds, elephants, lions, horses and other animals are worth to see here. Most of these sculptured scenes are from the Epics- Mahabharata, Ramayana and the Upanishadas. Interior of most of the temples are built using ivory and sandalwood.
